The Soundhole is a recording studio owned and operated by Daniel Dorman and Ian Williams. Founded in Middle Amana, Iowa, with a temporary move to downtown Cedar Rapids, the Soundhole is in the process of relocating and renovating a new and much improved multi-roomed facility in Marion, Iowa. With a focus on a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere as well as providing a creative environment and mindset, bands and artists of any style are sure to feel inspired and at home. Whether your goal is to accurately capture the sound and feel of a live performance or take advantage of the limitless opprotunities of a recording studio, the Soundhole will provide excelent results. Bands and solo artists are both welcome, as any combination of live tracking and overdubs can be used to sculpt your music and create the perfect vibe. The Soundhole has the ability and experience to record all types of music, from singer-songwriters, to jazz combos, to heavy metal bands.
